I have always had a love for travel within the USA and outside of it! I love to go to national and state parks and to discover new places whenever I can. I also am a fan of watching the Olympics (particularly gymnastics), hiking, practicing my Spanish, and cooking the majority of my own food.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I decided that I will go on some sort of trip every year for the rest of my life and Couchsurfing is one more great tool to help make that happen. I don't want money to be an excuse to stay in one place for too long so I'm very happy at the generosity I've experienced with fellow travelers on Couchsurfing and otherwise.

I really enjoy playing tennis, hiking, cooking, and learning other languages (particularly Spanish).

Música, películas y libros

I love alternative music (the Cure, the Strokes, Radiohead, etc) and almost all comedy or drama films.
Some of my favorite movies are Match Point, Being John Malkovich, and the Breakfast Club.

I have too many books that I love to narrow it down :)

I was able to living in Bogota, Colombia for 6 weeks to do a Spanish Immersion course and it was one of the most amazing opportunities I've been lucky enough to have!

I speak English fluently (native) and advanced Spanish. I'm always up for a language exchange or just talking about the world because I love the convergence of diverse viewpoints that lead to better understanding of myself and others in the world.
