Hi! I’m Vicky, an English teacher and language consultant from Argentina, with a strong interest in communication, cultures, and meaningful human connections.

I truly enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and learning how they see the world. For me, travelling is not just about visiting places, but about sharing everyday moments, exchanging ideas, and understanding local perspectives.

I have a background in education, and I work closely with adults and professionals, which has helped me develop strong communication skills and a respectful, open-minded attitude. I’m also passionate about the arts—I sing in a choir and deeply appreciate music, musicals, theatre, and cultural expression in general.

I consider myself a responsible, organised, and considerate guest. I value clear communication, mutual respect, and creating a comfortable environment for everyone involved. I’m always happy to share conversations, help with English or Spanish, and contribute positively to the experience.

In October 2026, I’m planning to travel around the Balkans, and I would love to connect with locals who are open to cultural exchange and genuine interaction.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have hosted only one guy so far, and those days were an amazing and enriching experience!
I visited Africa in 2013. There, I counted on some couchsurfers from Zanzibar and Joburg and had a nice, safe and wonderful trip.

My niece is a talented tourist guide and speaks English and Portuguese, so she can also be of help in case you need personal assistance.
