ABOUT ME

I am in a constant process of change. I tend to get involved in situations that test myself and how I understand things. Although I have been living in NYC for quite a long time and for the last few years I have not traveled that much, I have been fortunate to explore the different worlds here in NYC. I am also traveling inside my self which at time can be quite a scary experience, but also quiet rewarding. So, I guess you could say I enjoy traveling, externally, internally, far and close.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love music, especially world music. I also love to dance and salsa is one of my passions, so I do listen to salsa a lot. Although I don't consider myself to be a movie wiz I do like movies with content and am pretty well versed in foreign and independent movies. Since I am presently in school, I do read a lot of anthropology books. I also enjoy non-fiction and books that will help further my consciousness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling in a bus in Ecuador going from Guayaquil to Cuenca. The bus driver appeared to be in a competition with someone regarding how close he could get to meeting traffic when he was passing another bus or car while at the same time trying to avoid driving off the edge of the road with its vertical drop down the mountain. When we finally reached the hight of the clouds and actually passed them I was totally mesmerised.
