Hey everyone! 👋

My name is Vi and I grew up in a small town in Germany. After finishing highschool, I did a volunteer-year as a teacher assistant in an elementary school in Ho-Chi-Minh City, Vietnam 🇻🇳

During that time I was granted the opportunity to visit lots of countries around Asia and discovered my passion for traveling as well.
And although I am back in Germany again and will stay put for a while, I hope that I will someday be able travel again and finally visit every continent on the earth 🌎

I have been part of the CS community for one year now and was heavily impressed by the open-minded and really unique people I have met along the way.
I hope that I will someday be able to contribute to this amazing community myself and host once I settle down for a while. 🏠

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Someone recommended Couchsurfing to me almost a year ago. But because I wasnt able to travel during that time I never actively tried to use it.

Now that I started to travel alone I also started to use Couchsurfing more and I couldn't be any happier now. I never thought I would be able to meet so many like-minded people and each with their own story to tell as well!

I hope to someday be able to give something back to this community and be a host myself.

Interests

During my life I want to travel to all continents and obviously to a lot of countries as well. I am fascinated by the different cultures, traditions and foods and also by the amazing couchsurfers I have met so far and will meet in the future. 🏠

I am really fond of deep and good talks about basically everything. I especially love conversations about philosophy and sometimes politics, climate change, veganism, religion, music, etc. Whatever you want to talk about I'll happily join the conversation and look forward to learn something new. ✏️

Music has been a big part in my life since I was young and I am always more than happy to discover new things to listen to. Luckily I have a broad interest in different types of tunes. Although my main focus is electronic and house music, I have also taken an interest in hip-hop music. If you can recommend me anything from those two or even something else like rock, metal, pop or even classical music, I am always down to dance with you to anything.
I am also working on djing so I really love fresh and new stuff to play. 🎧

Although I did track and field for ten years I like playing different sports as well. Anything from handball, volleyball, football and basketball.
You can count me in, in basically anything (except swimming. I can't swim)

Of course I love movies and TV series as well and am always more than happy when I find something new to watch.
