Overview
About Me
Recent graduate of the University of Washington by way of Olympia. As much as I love venturing Seattle's happy hours and seeing live music, even more so I love exploring the natural beauty of Washington and the greater Pacific Northwest. Avid lover of beer and kombutcha.
Currently a young professional working in supply chain. I enjoy exploring farmers markets and try to be conscientious of the food I eat and the footprint it has. I've recently been spending a lot of my time reading and learning how to cook. Testing out my green thumb at keeping plants alive as well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To learn, travel, and meet people from around the world with different stories and perspectives than mine. Although I am fortunate enough to have traveled to different countries and to have met many amazing individuals, I still have much to learn about myself and the world. I've always felt getting to know locals and those who live in a city is a much more enriching and fulfilling experience then choosing Yelp's top destinations. It's my hope that I can share that experience as well as provide it for someone in Seattle!

Music, Movies, and Books
As i'm sure with most people, music is a powerful influence in my life. Frank Ocean, Odesza, The Lumineers, Solange, Kaytranada, Sango, Flume, Oh Wonder, Kaleo, Darius, and Zhu to name a couple.
Documentaries of all kinds - social and cultural, food, nature - are what captures my attention when it comes to television. Food Inc, Cooked, Planet Earth, Life, Parts Unknown, Requim for the American Dream, and Living on One Dollar are a couple I've recently seen.
For books, I recently finished The Omnivore's Dilemma, When Breath Becomes Air, and The Sixth Extinction. I've recently finished When Breath Becomes Air and The Five People You Meet In Heaven.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I would have to say sandboarding down an active volcano in Nicaragua triumphs them all.
