About Me

--Current Mission
As the Captain of Industry, Andrew Carnegie, once said; "Surplus wealth is a sacred trust which its possessor is bound to administer in his lifetime for the good of the community." So let's start off with the wealth and see what comes next.

--Philosophy
Burn twice as hot, twice as long, revel in radiance.

--About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've tried doing the solo traveler thing, and it kind of sucks. Just going somewhere alone without anyone to talk to about all the amazing things you see is very lonely, and I'd like to avoid that as much as possible. While I definitely don't expect to stick with host for the full duration of a stay, it'd be great to hang out to walk the streets or enjoy a nice meal together.

Interests

I grew up moving all over the US, so I never got the chance to really be a part of a team or focus on anything that required specific weather/locations. On the other hand, I did get a lot of time to spend reading and exploring fantasy, so of course I love trying to write some of my own.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Recently I've been getting more into Electronica, Trance, Dubstep, and House, although I love kicking back to Classic Rock, Modern Jazz, and a select few Soundtracks.

Daft Punk
Blackmill
Bon Jovi
Lindsey Stirling

Movies - Anything that actually thinks about how events affect people, I'm so tired of movies where everything "goes back to normal" at the end. Though I also have a huge love of the MCU. Sci Fi is probably my favorite genre though.

Ghost in the Shell
Edge of Tomorrow
Up in the Air
Iron Man

Books - I read so many books that if I had all of them as physical copies I'm pretty sure my house would collapse. Still a huge fan of Sci Fi and Fantasy, though because there's more to choose from I'm more of a purist.

Worm, Pact, and Twig, all by Wildbow
Everything ever written by Brandon Sanderson
Neuromancer by William Gibson
Mother of Learning by Domagoj Kurmaic

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once snuck backstage and met a ton of cool people at a Lindsey Stirling concert, pretending like I belonged there was pretty tough!

Skydiving is also a ton of fun, though I've unfortunately only done it once.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a storyteller with a love for debate, and I make a pretty damn good masala chai.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Japan, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

India, Singapore, United States
