I am new to the community, but hope to slowly get more involved (though i registered in 2013 hearing after one of bestie who loves travelling too).

I believe meeting and knowing people from different culture and geography is one of the best way to learn the nation. Couch surfing is a great platform for that which comes with safety and connects people well.
