Overview
About Me
Passion and diligence are two traits that I believe most reflect me as an individual. I love to meet new people, explore their food culture. I enjoy embracing them. This is the sole reason of why I am here on Couch surfing. Currently, I am a Masters student at TU Dortmund.
When I'm not on the job, I love to go on hiking, make and drink coffee, work my way through every recipe in the family cookbook, and indulge my attention on reading newspaper from first word to the last. I have weakness for Asian food. Himalayas are my favorite mountain range of all times, I'd love to die there. Addicted to work and coffee ! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Having someone from anywhere in the world coming over to your place – the thought alone is already exciting! Hosting brings some variety to your life, and it’s such a fantastic way to exchange cultures, right in your own house!
If you ever end up coming/going to Kolkata, give me a shout, and we can have a drink together or I could host you! ;).

Music, Movies, and Books
•Music : I am mostly into Rock and roll, Blues, Hip Hop, Country and Blue Grass. I am an average Guitarist myself, other than that I can also play some percussions. My favorite bands of all times are Lynyrd Skynyrd, AC-DC, Eagles, Queen, Jackson C. Frank, Sufijan Stevens, Dire Straits, Johnny Cash, John Mayer, Kid Rock, Pink Flyod, Creedence Clearwater Revival, ColdPlay, M83, Extreme and many more. It's difficult to fit in everyone here.
•Movies : More recently, I have been addicted to South Korean Movies. I mostly like horror, war, crime, action and emotional genres of movies. Some of my fave ones are: The Pianist, The Wailing, The Attorney, The Last Princess, I saw the Devil, A Beautiful mind, Interstellar, Shawshank Redemption and many more.
•Books : Another one is Lolita, by Vladimir Nabokov. This man writes beautifully, yet in a raw way that makes you “live” the story you’re in. It’s a shocking narrative and many people confuse the message. But it’s my ultimate favorite book. Forever.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
• Swam with jellyfishes at Laem Sala beach. (without getting stung)
• Volunteered for under privileged kids selling more than 100 tees.
• Did mountain biking at more than 14,000 feet.
• Donated blood several times.
• Won around 15 robotics competitions.
