I'm a university senior from the United States currently doing an internship abroad in Alicante, Spain. I study history, Spanish, and museology, and after I finish my semester I plan to travel as much as I can before I (sadly!) have to return stateside to graduate in the spring. I only have three weeks to see a little of Europe before I fly to Cambodia in January. I love history, books, music, museums, travel, camping, and trying new things. I'm a very responsible and polite person, and will be nothing but considerate of you and your home should you choose to host me. I know that some people are on CS just to find cheap alternatives to hostels, but I love the idea of meeting new people and learning about their lives and countries, and I'm hoping if you choose to host me we can have some great conversations and fun together!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've stayed in hostels and airbnb in the past, but the best experiences I've had travelling have been the nights that I couchsurfed with friends of friends. I'm travelling solo, and I think there is no better way to see a city and experience it's culture that by staying with people who live in it every day. I hope to meet some really great people this winter who can show me around the old parts of town and historical sites/museums (or at least point me in the right direction) during the day, and show me the night life once the day is done.
