ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm Vikram. I'm originally from Newcastle, spent 3 amazing years doing my undergraduate degree at Oxford, and I'm now studying Medicine at Warwick University, in my third year out of four. And other than that, I'm just trying to have as much fun as I can, do stuff I love, experience new things, and meet people who are trying to do the same.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with and hung out with Couchsurfers before while travelling with friends (and when couchsurfers have stayed with my friends in England), and it's always been a total pleasure. Embarking upon my first ever solo travel adventure inspired me to finally sign up to the site for myself!

Some things I love:
Music - writing, listening, playing and discovering it.
Travel - adventures, looking at maps, seeing new places, and as a very wise songwriter once noted, "the feeling of being in motion again"
Hanging out with frends and making new ones. Kind of an awful cliche but it really is just the best.
Chatting at great length about just about anything.
Sport (mostly football, cricket and tennis)
Films, books, current affairs, science, history, good food, good drinks

Travel-wise, it's close to impossible to single out one thing. That said, if I ever stay on your couch I will definitely, definitely, tell you about the time (some of) the Russian army got me and my friends drunk on homemade vodka on a train.

As well as all that, y'know, it's the little moments. Like every sunset ever. And also, pretty much all the times I've ever stayed up all night. Never fails to amaze me.
