About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet one new person a day in 2013

ABOUT ME

I love playing pretty much all sports (especially tennis, basketball and golf), checking out new restaurants, traveling, striking up conversations with strangers, watching my SF Giants and 49ers dominate their respective leagues, brainstorming ideas to change the world, having long conversations with old and new friends, searching for the greatest almond croissant in Portland, cooking Indian food, relaxing with a glass of red wine, reading when it's raining heavily outside, and meeting new people.

I make the world's greatest pina coladas. It's a secret recipe, but I'm happy to make one for you if you'd like.

I like most kinds of food, particularly Middle Eastern, Indian, and Korean. Anything spicy really. Oh, and Oregon beers and wines are amazing.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to movies and TV, I absolutely LOVE dumb comedies. My favorites are Happy Gilmore, Wedding Crashers, Zoolander, Dodgeball, and Meet the Parents. I'm also a huge fan of Ocean's Eleven, Gladiator, Rudy, Braveheart, and The Bourne Identity. On TV, I'll occasionally catch episodes of Modern Family, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, Archer, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and reruns of Seinfeld.

Recently i've really gotten into non-fiction books related to neuroscience. Such a fascinating field!
