About Me

I like adventures and travelling (obviously) and I am always open for new impressions and experiences.
If you let me stay at your house, I will of course try my best to make it a good experience for you too, so I might try to cook sometime, and help with housework and stuff.
I like to discuss politics and philosophy with a beer in my hand until 4 am, learning about different cultures and lifestyles.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Of course, I want to have the opportunity to travel without paying a lot of money on hostels and hotels.
Even more important is that I want to make friends anywhere I go and not only see touristic places, but the "real" part of the world, where I can join in with locals and learn about the "normal" life.

Interests

Any extreme sport and sport in general. Until now I've tried windsurfing, surfing, longboarding, volleyball, basketball and soccer. I am not really good in any of these. I've stayed with BMX and skateboard aswell as breakdance.

But my greatest interest is probably learning. New experiences, new thoughts and open-minded discussions. New places, new friends and activities.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like good Rap (with lyrics other than anyone banging another guys mother or girlfriend).
Also many kinds of Rock, Metallica, Linkin Park, Nirvana, Billy Talent. I know, that is a bad mix.

I read all the Harry Potter books many years ago and I love books that make you think. My favourite up to now is the Ender quartet, but I also like Terry Pratchett and Orwell. But if you ask me what books are best, I might also say 42 is always the answer.

Films is the same, if they make you think I most probably like them. I have not seen that many films and there are also not many DVD's to be found at my home. However, I like watching films. My favourite is Fight Club, but I love Pulp Fiction and Ex Machina too.

One thing I can absolutely not provide are games or gaming skills.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Best thing by now was probably climbing a house that was in construction, just to sit on the rooftop the whole night, watching the city below and discussing why people do the things they do and not the things they would like to do.

But maybe it's also jumping the Cliffs of Punta Ballena, Uruguay, or putting a hammock under an abandoned bridge over a river in my hometown.

I am not good at deciding, so I cannot tell you "one" amazing thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning any new stuff.
I can show you some extreme sports if you want and I love exchanging weird facts and discussing theories in any field. I can show you secret spots around my home to chill and drink a cold beer.

I am open for pretty much everything, but I am most interested in sports, music, philosophy, politics, and cooking.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook and I can provide an interesting discussion hopefully. Also, I don't mind doing the dishes.
