Hi, my name is Viktor and I am a travell lover! Right now I am living in Cidade de Maia, but I am from Croatia. In Maia, I am on an internship in the company that is doing consultancy service for renewables energy.

I have been travelling the whole of my life. First with my parents, than with myself and recently with my girlfriend. I had 41/498 Lonely Planet's Top 500 Global Destinations, so there are more places to visit.

While I am not travelling, in my spare time I have lots of hobbies. Some of them are hot air ballooning, homebrewing, karate, scuba diving, playing golf etc...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am Couchsurfing because I am tired of the monotony of touristic places. Every city has something unique that distinguishes that city from other ones. On Couchsurfing, I have the opportunity to meet locals and share all kind of interesting information about culture, city, gastronomy and not even only of the particular city but also about the whole country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my biggest achievements is to be part of world breaking record (2017) in the number of balloons that departure from the same spot, in France in Metz. A total number of 456 balloons at the same moment in one place. Also, last year I was part of the Croatian national team in the world competition in Austria. Sleep one night in Marocco desert. Scuba diving in the Red Sea. Camping in Alentejo, Portugal.

I could teach you how to make a good beer! Homebrewing is my passion! Also, if there is luck I could even take you to our balloonodrom to see how hot air balloons are functioning.

I can share the way of making beer at home and also cooking all kind dishes from Croatia and from around the world. Also, I can share my stories from balloon rides from Croatia and some European countries.
