I was born and raised in Slovakia, where i also study at the technical university.I live 20 min from downtown Bratislava, still with my parents. Last academic year i spent in Regensburg, Germany-doing my exchange year there. Besides this wonderful year, i lived one year in the USA, doing an exchange year during my high school studies(2009/2010). I lived in Philadelphia, PA in an american host family.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Main reasons, as for the most of us, is the money. I would rather use the money i could save on a over-priced hotel/boring hostel on something i can actually enjoy. Most of the time I travel, my budged is pretty limited. Next very important thing is, meeting locals of a city i come to visit is also very interesting, advices they can give me are much more valuable than any other information i could find in any travel guide or on the internet.
