My name is Viktoria, in short Vika and my sister's name is Veronika, in short Nika. ☺ Usually, we travel together but latest time we discover the world separately. Our native town is a beautiful city Saint-Petersburg, the cultural capital of Russia. You should come once to see it, we promise, you will fall in love!

I think every day is a great possibility to learn something new so curiosity and energy is what always overwhelm us.

When we laugh we do it loudly and long, when we cry we do it with all our hearts and doesn't matter with a best friend or with a person we just met. Truth of feelings or nothing, that's what l've learned.

We also have a very special relations with a nature. Campfire in the forest, songs under the stars and talks till the sunrise with family, friends and people we meet while traveling  are what make most of the magic moments of our life. Nature is really our friend. It is happiness for us to go to mountains, to have trekking and camps, listening waterfalls, see rainbows and other wonderful miracles of our mother Earth :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In every country and culture there are different people with their emotions, their laughs, their habits and views on life. Couchsurfing is amazing way to feel and know this World better and not only get but to share with everything you can give😊

I believe that every human have whole world inside and it is interesting to open it and everyone is a teacher for us and you are a teacher for everyone.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Absolutely everything, from rock to neo-classical and ethnic music :)
Movies: "Eat, pray, love", "3 idiots", " The Shawshank Redemption", "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas", all parts of " Harry Potter" and maany other, also we love documentary films and films which can inspire
Books: My favourite author is Jack London so all his stories. Of course russian classical literature: Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Chekhov and many other authors and poets. Important book for me is Aleksandr Grin and his "Scarlet sails" and "Running on the waves". So beautiful and deep!
I also like to read Karlos Kastaneda and psychological books :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We done "Camino de Santiago", it was extremelly cool experience, there you really test yourself, you can feel thousands of emotions, meet maany people from different pieces of Earth and in one day you can speak with people from 10 countries! This is incredible!

Teach, Learn, Share

In our life we have tried many things. We played basketball, attended courses in journalism, have been a part of many social activities. We had our own crew and used to dance hip hop and break dance. 
These days l have been learning to play the guitar so we can share cosy evenings singing together 😀 and Nika is learning how to play piano so you can have personal concert of famous songs Ludovico Einaudi😜 (if you have a piano at home) 
In general l believe you can have a lesson from any unexpected situation which happened to you with any person.
