Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am going to participate by surfing and hosting people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went couchsurfing in Finland, where we traveled to a kendo seminar, and stayed with a very nice couple and also met other,local couchsurfer. Then some time later we went to Paris, the experience was amazing, I met a lot of couchsurfers host&traveler, attended a CS house party. In Amsterdam I went to stay with 2 hosts and also enjoyed a weekly CS meeting and picnic.

Interests

Kendo - japanese martial art, books,movies, nature (like camping,walking). I like movies and opera and theater and well I would say I like trying out new things the most.

Movies:
Howls Moving Castle and other studio Ghibli movies, Tim Burton movies, Hua Mulan, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Night Watch 1,2 (Nochnoy Dozor), Arizona Dream, Zatoichi, K-PAX,Ken, The Matrix, Dirty Dancing(yes :D ), The Shining, Harry Potter etc.
TV: How I met Your Mother ,Stargate, Buffy Vampire Slayer, Bones,Fargo,Doctor Who, different animes like Samurai Champloo,Ghost in the Shell, Fullmetal Alchemist etc.
Music: Gotan Project, Queen, Classical music, Nautilius Pompilius, Edith Piaf, Gogol Bordello, Moloko, the Knife, Oomph, Sieben, Siela, the Tiger Lillies, Mashyna Vremeni, Antis, Leningrad, Arctic Monkeys.
Books: of course books about kendo, all series of Maks Frey, Terry Pratchett, Sergey Lukianenko, Harry Potter,Girl with the Dragon Tatoo, Cuckoo's Calling,Discovery of Witches... I generally used to read a lot of science fiction/fantasy, now not so much but still it is one of my favourtie tipe of books. Also, Ch.Bukowski - Post Office, Murakami - Kafka on the shore, M.Bulgakov - Master and Margarita, Y.Mishimas books, Shakespeare, E.A.Poe... and so on.
