About Me

Originally from Belarus, I’ve been on a big international journey for the last few years. 2.5 years ago, I moved to Poznań, Poland, to pursue my degree in International Business and World Economy. To make things even more exciting, I just finished a 6-month Erasmus exchange in Istanbul, which was an incredible, life-changing experience.

I’m a curious soul who loves observing how different cultures work and live. I’m easy-going, open-minded, and always ready for a good conversation about anything from global trends to the best local coffee spots.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My Erasmus in Istanbul and living in Poland showed me that the most valuable part of any journey is the people you meet. For me, Couchsurfing is an amazing opportunity to understand the world better by connecting with locals and exchanging perspectives. As someone who loves psychology, I believe that every person is a unique window into a different culture and mindset. I'm here to find authentic stories and see the world through the eyes of those who call it home.

Interests

I’m passionate about learning languages and exploring the world through communication. I have a deep interest in psychology, especially in understanding human behavior and what drives people. Also, I’m quite into culture and politics of different countries — I love analyzing how history and social structures shape the way we live today.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love watching Emily in Paris — it’s such a light and inspiring story about navigating a new culture, which I can totally relate to! When it comes to music, my playlist is a mix of Imagine Dragons, LP, and a lot of Turkish and Spanish songs I’ve discovered during my travels. I’m always happy to exchange music recommendations and find new favorite artists.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The view from the Çamlıca Mosque in Istanbul. Standing there and looking over the entire city, where the Marmara Sea meets the Bosphorus, was breathtaking. It’s one of those places that makes you feel how grand the world is, and the architecture of the mosque itself is just stunning.

Teach, Learn, Share

"I can help you with Russian, Belarusian, or Polish, and share some fun Turkish phrases I learned on Erasmus. Since I’ve lived in Belarus, Poland, and Turkey, I’d love to discuss the cultural contrasts and social dynamics of these places. We can also dive into deep talks about psychology, human behavior, or global economics (my major!). And of course, I’m always happy to help in the kitchen and cook a traditional Slavic dish for you."

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer great company, plenty of laughter, and wonderful shared memories. I’m always up for long, pleasant conversations about everything and anything. Beyond the good vibes, I’m a respectful guest who’s happy to help around the house or cook a nice meal together. My goal is to leave you with a smile and a great story to tell
