ABOUT ME

Hmm. This "hippie"-like girl is a colourful, friendly, caring, genuine person who enjoys meeting people with a good heart and an open mind, and loves to see all the beauty of the world in the smallest things. Usually I´m considered as a (very)talkative, spontaneous, funny and outgoing person, with opinions about everything. However, that´s just one side of me. I could as well be spending a day all silent, alone or with company, in one place just watching, listening, smelling, tasting and feeling the world. I guess I like contrasts, and I love so many things!
I feel very strongly and I want to live a full life, doing what makes me happy, possibly also others happy, things that I enjoy doing, things that are worth doing, worth spending one's time, something that is real, close to the life we live,.. I believe in love and good in people but knowing all the cruelty and inequality in the world I tend to feel myself helpless sometimes. I´m a total romantic and an idealistic optimist, a dreamer with a lot of dreams. Dreams which some might say are utopian, but at least they are beautiful. As long as there is beauty in this world, there is also hope. And the amount of beauty.. WHOOAA!! <3

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First I hosted some people in Helsinki and afterwards I've been surfing many times around Europe. Lately I've also been hosting more, but mainly outside CS, low-budget traveler-adventurers that I've met by accident and who have needed a place to stay.
That basically because I've found myself in the same situation when backpacking and I always got some help from wonderful people, so I want to give something back. And I haven't got proper requests in Helsinki for ages. Looking forward to host some more CSers, too!

兴趣

In my life, I really enjoy the little things and moments the most. I like to spend my time with a good company and having interesting conversations, being outside enjoying the nature, listening music, baking, or among my hobbies; photographing, drawing, doing improv theater, slack lining, playing harmonica, going to flea markets, reading books, watching documentaries and good films, etc. Things like that, nothing too exceptional.

音乐、电影和书籍

I love 60´s music(psychedelic/pop/rock/folk something), and reggae(roots) is always nice, 1920´s jazz(and other) is marvellous to listen, and in general I usually like music to be beautiful, melodic, instrumentalic, everything that makes me feel happy, relaxed, forget all worries and just listen to the lovely melodies, voices, lyrics. Like The Beatles, Donovan, Devendra Banhart, Tame Impala, The Growlers, Bob Dylan, Django Reindhart, Fleet Foxes, Dry the River, Yann Tiersen, Jack Johnson, Matt Costa, Bob Marley, Toots & the Maytals, Gregory Isaacs(n lots of other reggae), Bread Love and Dreams, Susan Christie, Bonnie Dobson, Kaleidoscope, July, Hiski Salomaa, Pekka Streng, Soul Captain Band etc etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

mostly things with smth to do with nature, crazy weathers or standing on top of a mountain, seeing the majestic Alps. and also the first time I flew above the clouds in an aeroplane(of course all of us have done that, nevertheless, it was freaking awesome, and still is!) Oh, and I was in a really, really great concert of Fleet Foxes! :D

What can I teach... I don't really like to teach but if you stick with me you could learn for example about healthy and delicious vegetarian food and baking, slack lining, harmonica playing, some Finnish or English of course, and so on.

I would love to learn about your culture and language! And learn something from you as a person. There's always something to learn from everyone. :)
