About Me

ABOUT ME

I finished my studies in Vilnius University, Lithuania. I majored in French and English philology and now working as French teacher with children and adults. I did one semester in Université Paris Descartes and worked in contemporary art gallery "Depardieu" in Nice, France. Also, I translate good films and interviews with world famous artists (Jean Michel Jarre, Lars Dannielson, Boye Hansen, Richard Galliano etc.). I'm quite artistic person so I think about majoring in arts the next year. Speaking about my personality, sometimes I can be conservative but it depends on the context. However, I'm friendly, caring and positive person who likes long talks about relationships, voyages, literature and the meaning of life (if it even exits?).

PHILOSOPHY

Life is beautiful from itself, just smile and be happy. Trust your inner guide in life and your life changes completely

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's extremely interesting to meet new people in new places and share the experience of travelling.

Interests

Arts.
I like drawings, painting and engraving.
I love photography. I'm really interested in street photography. I'd like to travel around the world and take pictures of interesting people and what they do in life. Besides, you can check my work here: http://visockaite.tumblr.com/ and https://www.instagram.com/visockaites/
Moreover, I like music. I've been playing violin and piano for more than 10 years. I adore jazz, loving small, cosy local jazz bars.
I recently started swimming and I think it really keeps me calm and energised at the same time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of amazing things I've done is playing in the streets. The first time I've played in Vilnius old town when I was 9 years old. I was playing really simple songs with flute. When the years passed, I started to play the violin in the streets with my good friend everyday. It was our summer job. I'd really like to play in other countries and see if people react differently as in Lithuania.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play an instrument and maybe read music notes (if there's enough time). I'm passionate about French culture and everything about France, so I could teach you some swear words in French. Also, I can sing French songs with a Kazoo! And I looooove taking portraits of people! So, looking for models!
