Current mission... living a fulfilling 20s.
I'm living in San Francisco working for UC Berkeley and UCSF in program administration. I previously worked for a Scandinavian architectural design firm focusing on one of the skyscrapers going up in San Francisco. The most interesting place that I've lived was on an island off the coast of Maine where I worked as a project manager doing offshore lighthouse restoration. Everything about it was as incredible as it sounds, including taking a boat to work. That summer I taught a class on sustainability, ecology, and architectural drafting in Bar Harbor, Maine.
I have a Master's in Project Management specializing in Architecture. I undergrad is in Historic Preservation & Community Planning and Art History from the College of Charleston . I'm interested in politics, green tech, love Archer, Bloodline, and House of Cards, and I'm a freak for boating and being out on the water.
I'm an Irish citizen and one of 6 siblings. Almost all of my family lives in Ireland, but the one's that live here live in Toronto and New York.
I'm an open, easy going, adventurous, spontaneous, not hard-to-please guy, and I'm always up to show people around my city and go out for meals and drinks.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have this page because I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people and exchanging experiences and stories, and I've have had great experiences with CS in the past. Travel is one of the very most important things to me, and this site allows its users to do it more readily (and on the cheap)! I'm usually up to host people on a couch or a spare bed at my place, but also want to opportunity to find some new couches anywhere I find myself wanting to go next.
