Currently traveling around SE Asia for a while, I’ll be back in Utrecht in August and able to host again then.

So for now, I’m having a great time exploring different places, and learning about other cultures. It’s crazy to see how open and loving people can be in different places. I hope I will be able to bring some of it home and hold on to it!
Another thing I love about traveling is trying all the different cuisines everywhere. It’s amazing to try foods I’ve never seen before and enjoy flavors I’ve never tasted. I’m not a great cook, but trying new things motivates me to try to make more different dishes!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I know I won’t remember that normal bus ride from a to b, but I surely will remember the crappy bus that kept me up all night, or the kind people that gave me a lift in the back of a pick up truck for a couple of hours and went out of their way to get me to my destination.
I guess it’s the same with hotels/hostels. They won’t give the same amazing time as Couchsurfing potentially can!

I personally like to listen to punk rock and other hard and loud music. However I’m interested in getting to know good artists in any genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many nice things to tell!!
I spent two months in Nicaragua where I learnt a bit of Spanish and where I walked on top of the cathedral of León!
I hitchhiked for about six weeks straight around europe and met a lot of great people!
Stayed a night in the desert in Morocco!
Got sick for a week after visiting the desert in Morocco and eating raw salad there.
Driving a motorbike through Vietnam.
Hitchhiking through Laos.
Visiting Myanmar (nicest country I’ve ever been!)
