About Me

Hey, I'm Vincent, a young lad, curious and happy, who's just looking around to share and hear new stories.
Yeah I'm looking asian, I'm a mixed blood child american/korean, raised up in France. I was living a cool life with familly and friends, then decided to travel. I moved to Autralia for one year, then got the virus and visited South Korea and Japan but only as a tourist. So maaaaaany places I wanna go and visit. And know I'll travel with my sweetheart, so it's gonna be twice more fun and sharing a travel with 4 eyes instead of 2!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travelled a bit in the past, as I was by myself. As I settled with my gf and got a regular job now, my vision of travelling is a bit different now. Cause I wanna travel with her of course, and maybe couchsurfing would be nice to help us travelling and meet new and interesting peoples!

Music, Movies, and Books

Ha, I'm never confortable with this kind of questions because it's such a mix in my head!
But here are my very last favorite:

Music: Machine drum - What Is This feat. Rosie Lowe (check it on Soundclound, it's pure awesomeness!)

Movie: Your Name (Makoto Shinkai) and Le Grand Méchant Renard et Autres Contes ( Benjamin Renner, Patrick Imbert ). I was very, very impressed by both movies!

Books: March Comes in like a Lion (Chica Umino). It's a manga about Shogi game, and it's a pure jewel. Can't wait for the next book in french!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled up and down Cradle Moutain in Tasmania. The weather wasn't really good and I was just by myself. Can't forget when I tried not to fall because of the strong wind or walking down a path full of holes covered by snow.
I felt like crying when I reached the top and took out my lunch. But after one bite, it started to rain, and then snow. I got my way back on track an met peoples full of trekking gears who were stopping and getting bach to the start of the trail. I was looking so poor just with my little backpack!

Then the weather got worst and - stupidly - I decided to finish the loop and continue on the track. The long part, you know. I was frozen and found a place behind a rock to eat something. Then I ltterally ran during the rest of the trail. And of course at the end, bright sunshine and blue sky ! My host (I was on HelpX at this moment) asked me was I looked so exhausted hahaha
That was just an epic day for me, and one of my best memory so far :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Of course I can teach you some french and help you with this. I like everyday philosophy - the kind of gentle thought that helps you growing and that you can find anywhere by just opening your heart.
I'm a huge fan of boardgames and I love to play anything! It's part of my philosophy too, so let's play some game together, it's fun and good time to share. I can teach you some or you can show me what you liek to play.
I'm also looking to improve my poor korean language, much to be done here!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Just our own stories of us, my gf + me. A good couch, with everything you may need. A stash full of boardgames if you want to try any of them. And of course a walk in Strasbourg and hanging in some good places around!
