About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm on a mission to expand my conscious horizons, to walk every continent, to be a human sponge.

ABOUT ME

I am an easy going person. I enjoy a good book (and I usually bring one with me), chatting with friends over a good meal and a few beers or wine. I'd much rather like to hear what others have to say before I say anything, and when I do speak, it is short and to the point.

PHILOSOPHY

Soak it up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

NONE! But I'm doing my best to either host or surf.

Interests

A great meal, a good book, wandering about the city, learning how to prepare new dishes, beaches, forests, country-sides, beer, wine, cities unbeknownst to me, things of that nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

I just like to read. Music; I prefer virtuosos but I am open to most genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first was when I went to Iquitos, Peru, but more specifically when I went from there to small and remote community about six hours away (2 hours by car and another 4 by boat). I had never seen anything like the Amazon, except for in books and on TV, but to be there in person left me in awe. The people and the poverty, I have never seen anything like it.

Another instance also happened while in Iquitos. There was a parade of people marching in the street, partially out of protest and partially out of a sense pride. Peru is very clearly divided by race. To see these people join in solidarity was truely inspiring

Teach, Learn, Share

I think there is something to learn from every. What you learn is up to you.
