About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I'm not a shy person, but until knowing someone and open me up, I need some time. I like talking and listening others while talking. In general I'm rather freaky, searching all kinds of challenges and exploring knowledge.

PHILOSOPHY

To ask a philosophy–student for its personal philosophy… :/

In general, I think that language isn't enough to reflect the world, and thus is better used in terms of analogies.
In that sense: I'm a train who's following the track of reality.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like the netlabel-movement one can enjoy these days. Thus mainly listening to electronic music. “Das Kraftfuttermischwerk” does a really good job on this (google it, download it [for free] and enjoy it). Currently listening a lot of “Entertainment of the braindead“ (same as above ;)).

I like drum'n'bass, especially liquid drum'n'bass (LTJ Bukem, Kruder & Dorfmeister…), a bit of Hip-Hop (Jurassic 5, Meatsheak…), a bit of Indie-Rock (Tocotronic, Interpol…) and lots of other music that has half-page-description :)

Movies are a difficult chapter. I hardly watch… But I like movies that have a certain kind of beauty.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, the first time I got Gnus to work was a really amazing feeling. :)
Gnus is an eMail client for Emacs. And its configuration is a headache. I was spending lof of time on the configuration: triggering it on – didn't work, shitfting some bits, triggering it on – didn't work, shift some more bits… After two weeks – finally – it gave me the content of my mailbox. An amazing feeling. :)

BTW: I feel very stupid to tell this as a great thing in my lifetime. :)

Ooooh! Once I climbed a way free–solo and felt a oneness with the universe. That was great, too! ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you how to juggle and how to make an alcohol stove out of two beer cans.
