Our names are Vincent and Annelies. Vincent is 28 years old and works as a investment analyst. Annelies is 30 years old and works as a lean coach.

We consider ourselves sociable and easygoing people. As guests, we are also very tidy and quiet. We love adrenaline fueled activities (like surfing, bungee jumping, paragliding, etc.), but we also enjoy quiet activities (like watching the underwater world when diving or taking in amazing scenery while hiking). We are big food lovers and can't go without (live) music and some good dancing!

We have always been living in Belgium, but also travelled all over the world. So far, we have checked out most parts of Europe, traveled around Australia and New-Zealand and visited most countries in Central America and South-East Asia. But there are still so many places we can't wait to see.

Would be great to share travel stories with hosts and get tips and advice as to where we should be heading next!

To meet people from all parts of the world, learn their stories and share ours. We like the idea of seeing a foreign destination from the perspective of a local, rather than from a tourist's guide. The world is to be explored and it's great to be sharing experiences along the way!

We are reading The World Is Blue - Sylvia Earle and Stung - Lisa-ann Gershwin at the moment. When we're not reading we're watching all the seasons of Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Peaky Blinders, Narcos or any other binge watch series.

Quit our jobs and traveled through Australasia for one year and a half.
Jumped the Nevis Swing in New Zealand.
Saw the Aurora Australis in Tasmania.
Dived with bull sharks in Fiji and with leafy sea dragons at Rapid Bay (Aus).
Ate freshly self-caught abalone in Port Lincoln (Aus).
Snorkelled with Australian sea lions in Green Head Bay.
Saw a humpback whale being eaten by sharks on the Ningaloo Reef (Aus).
Went fishing in a croc creek in Broome (Aus).
Saw Uluru change colour five times during sunset.
Dove the SS Yongala Wreck in Townsville (Aus).
Skydived above the Whitsunday Islands and saw the Great Barrier Reef from the sky.

Every person is different and can teach you something! Over the last years we became more interested in everything that's connected to ocean and wildlife conservation. We still need to read and learn lots more, but we would love to gain more knowledge in this domain.
