Growing natural food and sustainable living!!!

ABOUT ME

I was born in Sicily, but I lived twelve years in the middle of Italy, and ten mounths I lived in the middle of Europe as erasmus student.

Now I'm back in Sicily where my mission is to grow natural food and to plant as much as possible trees! The land where I live is inside the city and I realised that is not easy to be sustainable in a sicilian city between sicilians. that's why I need your help to make it possible. You can help and support in many different way. If you come here you will plant something in the natural garden. I'm living and working everyday in my food forest where trees, dogs, cats, chickens and a sheep are leaving their life! There I'm growing fruits trees (almonds, olives, indian figs, plums, pomegranates, oranges, quinces, malberry, apples, pears) medical plants and vegetables with the techniques of natural farming based on Fukuoka's studies.

I started working with turists here on this beautiful land as turist guide and renting rooms on the sea. When you'll visit us you will taste our products as homemade jam, olives, fresh pasta....

To keep hosting I need your help, in any sense! :) If you are alone it will be a pleasure to host you but I'll ask to help me farming or cleaning or feeding animals... it will be sort of help exchange or woofing.

PHILOSOPHY

If I read I forgot, if I write I remember, if I do I learn.

Life is what happens when you are busy making others plans.

You can think to be safe and strong, but one colour saw by chance, one special smell full of remembers, a line from a forgotten poem, a cadence of a piece of music... are things that our lives depend on.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy to be part of others people's trip.

Hosted lots of people in Perugia, and now hosting people in my farm in Alcamo and renting rooms on the sea where I always offer a free cs experience!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First I had a wonderful indirect experience, travelling in Croatia with my friend Ali, where we met lots of couchsurfing members and one of those was a professional tour guide! During 2010/2011 I hosted in Perugia lots of people coming from all over the world, and I keep doing the same here in Sicily!

Coming back from Bratislava to Alcamo by bike. 41 days 3200 kms sleeping everywhere on the street with my friend from Spain. A 12 days walking trip with my dog from Alcamo to The middle of Sicily.
