ABOUT ME

Having settled in diff. cultures and locations, I'm a little bit lost in translation. But I always look for more distractions!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that one has to live one's life to the fullest, by taking risks, giving up safety choices and stepping out of comfort zones. Growing up in an asian environment that favors achievements, I have come to learn during my study and travels abroad that work, titles, a bank account aren't the real luxury of being alive. I also try to control less but let life lead me. Drastic turns sometimes are the most memorable.

I enjoy a line from the Shawshank Redemption: "it comes down to one thing, get busy living, or busy dying."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Call me a nerd, but I wrote a paper on the CS project...back in 2009. I started out a bit skeptical about the transient relationships people form and but realized that the ones you are meant to cherish in life always come around again, and again. I was then convinced to finally join Couchsurfing especially with the free spirit in Copenhagen!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only started surfing this year, first in Italy in April and then to other places in continental europe as I go. While I am in Copenhagen, I try to find time to meet up with couchsurfers, local or visiting, for brief but memorable encounters. As I still can't host, I am always open for a walk, coffee, you name it =)
