Overview
About Me
Hello, I'm Vinicios from Brazil.
Currently in UK/England 🇬🇧🏴
Since I was a child, I've always had an insatiable thirst and desire to explore the world and discover all that it has to offer. After years of dreaming, in April 2025 I will finally embark on my journey around the globe!
I am a trained biologist who has spent years involved in scientific research, but now I feel it's time to see the world with my own eyes and experience what life truly has to offer beyond the pages of academic books, because life is far more exciting when you're living it!
I am eager to immerse myself in new cultures, connect with locals, and share my passion for the world. I believe that every journey is a chance to learn, grow, and create unforgettable memories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to connect with local people wherever I visit or spend a season, as well as meet fellow travelers from around the world. I believe this is the most authentic way to experience local culture and learn from others’ unique life experiences. I look forward to engaging in great conversations, having fun, and sharing memorable moments with everyone I meet along the way.
Most importantly, I am here to trust in others and embrace the unknown, opening my heart to new adventures and perspectives.

Music, Movies, and Books
I consider myself an eclectic person with a passion for a wide range of music genres. I love good Latin music (funk, samba, pagode, brega, forró, reggaeton, ...) as well as pop, rock, and hits from the '80s, '90s, and 2000s.
I enjoy movies across various genres, such as fantasy, science fiction, action, suspense, and horror. When it comes to TV series, I am drawn to sitcoms, medical dramas, police investigations, and fantasy shows. I also appreciate watching documentaries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I camped on a deserted island, searched for fossils, and even found a spinosaurus vertebra;
I climbed to the summit of a mountain range with my best friends, sharing an unforgettable adventure and celebrating our collective strength;
I embarked on my first solo trip to Rio de Janeiro, diving into its vibrant culture and learning the true joy of independent travel.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share insights about Brazil, offering destination tips, introducing typical dishes, and highlighting local artists. I can also teach Portuguese and practice other languages, such as English, Spanish, or French. I’m eager to learn more about the local culture and lifestyles of the people I meet through CouchSurfing by engaging in meaningful conversations and sharing memorable moments together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hosts can expect a calm, openminded, interested, and respectful traveler.
I love meeting new people and having meaningful conversations, so I’m eager to share quality time with my hosts during my stay. Additionally, I’m independent, flexible, and open to new ideas, which means I can easily adapt to your daily routine in a way that benefits both of us.
