I'm sure the words 'adventurer' and 'thrill-seeker' are a cliche in bios as such as these, but unfortunately these adjectives are as applicable to me as to thousands of daring travellers. I'm also the kind of guy who looks at a map and books a flight after seeing an patch that hasn't been personally unexplored.

But I also like to meet new people, listen to their stories and tell my own; and in an age when we're constantly communicating, I especially value that moment when a person is telling a story oozing with meaning.

Finally for me the option to do is most of the time better than to don't. You never know what you missing out on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being in an audience member for the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics. There's no words to describe seeing your such a spectacle on your home turf. Truly sensational.

That and seeing my friend get slapped by Amy Winehouse in a bar.
