About Me

Hi!

My name is Vincent, I'm 30 and live in France.
Traveller since I'm a kid, I had the opportunity to visit different countries, discover many cultures with my family, group travels and even by myself.

Shy at the beginning, I'm driven by three main principles that are respect, freedom and honnesty. You might find me nice and easy going as soon as I start feeling comfortable :)

I'm currently prepping for a solo road-trip around Europe with my motorcycle (Yamaha FZ6). This 3-weeks trip starts near Paris to Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and back to France. That's a great opportunity to meet you!

Next step is the world-tour with a partner :)

I am currently unable to host anybody because my place is way too small. I promise I will as soon as possible!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel, I enjoy discovering cultures, meeting people and admiring landscapes. This app is the best opportunity to mix all of this with people that think and live alike!

I'll try my best to give as much as I receive.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, I like all kinds of music with a preference for rock. You'll get my curiosity with "world music" and my attention with fun facts arround artists, bands and events.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was sitting alone on the Great Wall in China, tourists were leaving by the end of the day and I chose to wait so I could see the sunset from there. Such a good memory even tho it isn't really authorized there.
I even took a unique picture of it before leaving through the jungle, avoiding police patrols, jump in a taxi heading home.

I was 21 at that time, the age when the world belongs to you ; I would definitely be more cautious today but never regret this experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

I surely can teach you about photography and some life lessons based on my experiences. Still a beginner at guitar but trying to improve everyday when possible :)

As my job is related to cyber-security and team management, I probably can give some hints about it too but not sure it would interrest someone here ahahah!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Nice talks about cultures and life. I try everyday to be a better person than I was the day before.
I would definitely love to share travel stories around a camp fire, looking at the stars and measuring the infinity of the universe, admiring how small we are and how big is the world we live in.

With this kind of sharing, we will understand that there are as many travel styles as there are people on earth. That's why I find it rewarding to talk about it.

On the other hand, we would share cuisine recipes, music, life motivations, ...
