About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Seeing the world one trip at a time.

ABOUT ME

I like the idea of making friends while I'm traveling. Usually I'm an AirBnB kind of person but would love the opportunity to take it a step further and try some couchsurfing.

PHILOSOPHY

Why sit on your butt while you could be out seeing the world?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just trying it out for the moment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I’ve only couch surfed once in Asheville and it was AMAZING!

Interests

I love the outdoors and going on mini trips. Right now I plan on spending my 6 days of vacation traveling up the East coast snowboarding as I go.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Alt J, James Bay, James Blake, Jack White, Band of Horses

Movies: I'll cop out and say I'm a movie buff and it's hard to find a movie I don't like. I tend to shy away from documentaries and sad endings.

Book: Ready Player One, The Martian, Neverwhere

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to England, Wales, and Scotland back when I was 19 with my best friend (she was 18). We had the time of our lives. We were stranded so we hitchhiked. We climbed a mountain in Wales with just our tennis shoes and sweatshirts (it was cold so I don't recommend). Throughout the whole trip I can say that the most amazing thing that I witnessed was the kindness of strangers. On 2 occassions people gave us a ride. On another occasion they gave us the lunch they had packed for themselves.

Other times I've been to Thailand, Italy, Germany, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, and Croatia in the recent past. All of which are amazing stories on their own and would be too much to type in here.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Would love to buy them a beer out on the town and exchange stories. Also willing to do your dishes if needed. :)
