Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first used Couchsurfing nine years ago during my exchange studies, and it completely changed how I travel. I met so many interesting people and collected stories I never would have found in a hotel. It’s honestly the best way to understand a city. We’re settled in Vancouver, and we’re just as excited to host surfers from different places.

Couchsurfing is a nice reminder that the world isn’t that bad after all.

What I Can Share with Hosts

When we’re surfing, we’re respectful of the host’s home, time, and boundaries.
We always bring a small gift as a thank-you.
We communicate clearly and try to make things easy.
Happy to help with small things if needed.
We’re calm, easygoing, and low-drama.
If the host would like to hang out, we can rent a car, drive and cover the gas. If the host prefer space, we'll be fine on ourselves.
