ABOUT ME

CHECK OUT MY TRAVEL BLOG!
http://violetwhitney3.tumblr.com/

I'm 25 and graduated last year from Arizona State University with a degree in Architecture. I just got back from backpacking in South America, and had the best time with the CS community. I'm interested in collaborative consumption, open-sourcing, digital fabrication, and how all of that is changing architecture and design. I'm interested in learning new things and meeting interesting people.

PHILOSOPHY

YOLO

I want to make the world a better place and get as much out of life as humanly possible! Is that generic enough?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked in southern Argentina on Route 40 during the winter. Route 40 is a gravel road which is not so frequently traveled during the winter months. My friend and I were dropped off and watched the semi we had been riding with, drive off into the distance. We heard it was going to snow that night. There were a couple hours, standing on the side of that road, not knowing if any car was going to drive on that road that day, and I really thought I was going to freeze to death that night. Miraculously a car drove by and picked us up...we lived.
