I would like to travel to as many different cities as possible, spreading smiles, and playing my Irish and fiddle tunes.

ABOUT ME

Unable to find a decent job after college, I took up my violin again after 7 years away from it. I played more and more because it makes me happy, it seems to make other people happy, and it was a great way to make new friends. At one point I was playing at 6 open mics per week! I created a website, added a werewolf mask, and took the plunge to try my best at making a living with it! I've felt very much embraced by the community of Ann Arbor, Michigan. I've played at an art festival, a fundraiser for a local charity, a Pirate Pub Crawl, been interviewed by half a dozen University of Michigan student publications, collaborated with other artists and photographers, and I was even on the cover of the city newspaper! How this whole concept continues to evolve constantly surprises and amazes me. I always am looking forward to meeting new people, and sharing my music and stories.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am traveling and playing on the streets wherever I go. I've been to Boston and New York so far on my trip, and I'll be traveling through the south until April!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was 15, I had the opportunity to travel to Europe with an international orchestra from I music camp I attended. The host families that we stayed with were absolutely wonderful, and I'm really thankful for all of the experiences I was able to share and the memories I was able to make with them. I am hoping to be able to share my music and stories with people in much the same way on this trip. I believe that human interaction is the key to happiness. :)

I would love to learn how to cook more. I mainly stick to stuff like pasta right now, but I'd love to eat healthier and know a few dishes I'm comfortable with making.
