ABOUT ME

Hi everyone, my name is Phuong, from Vietnam. I am doing my Master studies in Berlin. I've been living here since last October and still discovering the city. When anyone asks me what do I like about Berlin, I always tell him/her that everyday I find out a new thing about the city, which makes it very interesting to live here. The city is big and there're always something going on so you won't feel bored here, at least it is so for me.

I have participated Couch Surfing for about 2 years now, and so far I've met very nice and interesting people. I love listening to inspiring stories about different cultures, regions, festivals, and the people. I like the fact that through couch surfing, I could meet strangers and immediately start the conversation as though we have known each other for years. It seems to me that there is an invisible line connecting the people in this community. It might be the passion about traveling, or the passion of exploring new places.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can meet you for a coffee or a walking tour around down town on weekends. My room is very little and i'm sharing a flat with 5 other people so I'm still not sure about the ability to host anyone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When in Rome, I was lucky to get a friend of my host, who, at the time, was working at an officer in the Italy Tourism Ministry. It was my first time surfing and I already got an Official tour guide taking me around Vatican city. That was the most memorable joy I could think of. Gradually I met some very nice hosts as well as travelers in many cities.

Intereses

Coffee! I would be like a zombie without my morning coffee
listening to Alexi Murdoch and Cold play when it's cold outside
sitting in coffee shop, looking at people and imaging what is going on in their minds.

You should bring a good sleeping bag whenever you travel to SE Asia :)
Instant coffee bags are always good to bring with.
Sometimes strangers are just perfect companion.
