ABOUT ME

I am open minded and enjoy meeting new people. I love learning new things about people and their places, be it getting a little glimpse of a culture or really getting to grips with it!

My favorite things to do are: cooking for people; making cakes; listening to lovely music; cycling around; watching films old and new (especially at the cinema); swimming; traveling; sunbathing; relaxing with friends; drinking lovely wine!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Though not through CouchSurfing, I did stay with a family in Fiji for 4 months when I was 18/19 while I taught at the local school on the little island of Ovalau. It was one of the best experiences of my life and I learnt more than I could have imagined about the Fijian culture and the lovely family I stayed with. Its the best way to see a culture for sure! I enjoy meeting new people and hearing about a place from the locals themselves.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in remote Fiji for 4 months with a Fijian family. I was lucky enough to really experience the culture with the loveliest people on the planet!

Teach, Learn, Share

For one, I speak fluent English so can try to help someone learning the language. I love to cook so could exchange recipes. I'd love to learn Spanish and French properly - I can speak tiny bits of each, but not enough!
