About Me

I'm a researcher. My fields of study are environmental sciences and geography, from a very technical point of view. I use satellite and aerial images to explore environmental problems around the world.
I lived in several countries due to my job and studies (Spain, Canada, Nicaragua, Brazil) and now I am living in Calgary, Canada.
I love travelling, art, dance, food and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and knowing people from other cultures and with different points of view about life. For this reason, I found CS a great iniciative and I am looking forward to enjoy of experiences around the world.

Interests

I love nature and I'm recently exploring outdoors sports, such as climbing and canyoning and I'm loving it. Long time ago I worked in a research centre related to oceans and I learnt how to dive, so I take the advantage everytime I can to dive. Last time was Indonesia in 2014 and it was amazing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm very eclectic about music, I normally don't explore much, but let my friends to recommend me things. About books, I like books that have a historical background, so I can learn about different places and historical times. I like movies that have an unexpected ending.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

I try to spread the love and respect for nature to everyone I know. I think we can do better to live in this planet without harming it. Small things make a big difference, if we all collaborate.
Also, knowing other people, other ways of thinking will kill racism and intolerance. I try to learn the most of everyone I meet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my experiences about living in other countries and travels I did.
Also, my love and knowledge about nature, sports, environment and my philosophy of life.
And I love cooking! So I will be pleased to cook for my guests. I can prepare many Spanish dishes, but also from other countries, since I love gastronomy.
