One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
5500 Steps Along the Pilgrimage Climb to Adam’s Peak with 2 couples i Hosted.
This mountain has been venerated since antiquity for a footprint-shaped indentation, which Buddhists believe was left by Buddha and Muslims attribute to Adam, Hindus to Shiva, and some Christians to St Thomas. the ascension started at 2 am and we reached the top at 6am...
What an amazing experience... there is no words! We were standing on the summit of this sacred mountain between the intense fatigue after climbing, an indescribable view when the sun came up with these thousands pilgrims, these mountains, this wildlife.. and a pot of tea to warm up.
