I think its an easy way to get in contact with the locals all over the world. I looking forward to learn as much as possible from every person I meet. But well.. student = with not alot of money , but a big disire to travel the world and to meet with people from different cultures. I think you can travel a country as often as you want, but without getting to know the locals you are missing half of the experience. Couchsufing is the easiest way to get connected and it's a good way to prove that there are still good and friendly people out there.
