Exploring a few places while I'm on break from school. I am studying in Upstate New York to one day be a nurse midwife, and I'm passionate about making health more accessible and more wholistic. I enjoy beautiful spaces/places, museums, gardens, coffee/coffeeshops, little bookstores and riding bicycles and can't wait to spend lots of time doing just that! Also, if there are dancing clubs with disco/funk/or/salsa I can dance the night away. Love good company and good music, though cannot play a thing (except a little saxophone from years back). Sadly couldn't figure out how to add karaoke onto interests, but definitely an aspiring karaokist.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking to stay where I can rather than hostel, and for a few weeks will be roaming around without much of a plan! It would be great to crash where I can and explore new places, meet new people!

Recently have gotten into Alessi Brothers, Donnie & Joe Emerson, Zap Mama, Nino Ferrer, the Cyrkle. Big time Fleetwood Mac fan, also old times country like Waylon Jennings, Linda Ronstadt, Dolly, Emmylou Harris.. and always Buena Vista Social Club and Pink Martini.
Documentaries (Seeds was great!) anything Ginger Rogers.
Currently reading -and hopefully can now finish on the plane- Snow by Orhan Pamuk
