Overview
About Me
I'm Virginija, a creative freelancer from Vilnius. I've spent most of my life making documentaries, until I shifted focus—first to documentary storytelling, then to simply holding space for stories, narratives, and the potential to rewrite them.
Now I work as an intimacy coordinator for film and television, a public speaker (I genuinely enjoy talking in public), designer of a self-development workshop about discovering inner narratives, and project manager at a museum in Vilnius.
On the personal side: I was in a long-term relationship that became a marriage, then a sudden divorce, and now a memoir in the making. As much as I'd like to brag about how wonderful life is, I must also humbly admit that watching the pieces of your life fall back into new places can be frustrating.
Other than that, I enjoy listening to and telling stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In the end of April, and some time in July I will be attending the in person bid of the online course, and I'd like to spend this time also knowing people and place I will be at. Of course, I'm also a bit broke, so saving up is also important.

Teach, Learn, Share
This is my website: virginijavareikyte.com
What I learned and what I teach is that everything we do or think is because of the story that we believe about ourselves, others and the world. Once in a while, it's good to an audit, of what those stories are and are they really ours?
