i enjoy meeting new people , love travelling would travel for the rest of my life if i had the money or if i successfuly rob a bank or win a lottery sumday. Like capturing instances of time with my camera and get a kick of adventure.

greeting fellow travellers, soul seekers, farmers and organic revolutionaries...!
my name is vishal mehta.
We cultivating 25 acres of shade grown coffee(arabica) with an acre of cardamom. Plenty of water (waterfalls, streams) but still looking to build various water harvesting structures. our current aim is to retrofit the land and make it fully organic using agroforestry, ecological science (thru bio diversity survey), building various living structures for the staff and volunteers alike.
We plan to intercrop with legumes, fruits trees,jungle trees, make living fences, put windbreaks,designing a bio diversity conservation center amongst other things.There a lot of work to be done and lot of fun to be had as well. Our current project is building the staffing quarters(mud plastering, thatching roof,carpentry) .
If any fellow farmers and aspiring farmers with the knowlegdge in any of the above or none want to help create a pilot of sustainable bio diverse organic farm you are more than welcome here. I would provide for the food and lodge in exchange for farm work. Life here pretty chill, other than the farm work in the day. please feel free to get in touch with me for further information.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is new to me. I have hosted a lot of people before at my home in india (kolkata). but it has not been through couchsurfing, but instead people i have either met in my travels abroad or just randomly in my city. I have a loving and a open minded family.
In india there is a saying "guest is like god" so we can never turn down our guest on anything. :)

lately been watching a lot of documentaries. mainly stuff tht's gotta do a lot with the environment, politics , philosophy and stuff.
books would be stuff tht i am interested in at tht very moment. but one straw revolution (masanobu fukuoka), kafka on the shore(haruki murakami) and more on the same lines.
