About Me

Namaste 🌿
I’m Vishal , a cyclist, a yoga teacher, a flute lover, a writer and a traveler on a long journey I call “In Search of Life.”
What started as a 3-month bicycle trip quietly unfolded into years on the road. I’ve cycled across 18 states of India, Nepal, and Bangladesh - not to chase destinations, but to listen to people, sit by rivers, watch sunrises, and learn from strangers who become family.
Yoga is not my profession alone - it’s my way of breathing. I practice and share Hatha Yoga, pranayama, meditation, and sometimes poetry that arrives somewhere between a mountain and a quiet night sky.
I travel simply. I carry few things. I value deep conversations, warm chai, honest laughter, and silence that feels comfortable.
If I stay with you, I don’t just come for a bed - I come with stories from the road, homemade smiles, maybe a small yoga session if you’d like, and a heart open to learning from your world too.
I believe the universe is my home, and people are its most beautiful rooms.
Let’s share a meal, a story, or just a quiet sunset 🌅
With gratitude,
Vishal

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here because I believe the world feels smaller when strangers open their doors , and their hearts.
My journey began as a simple bicycle trip, but it slowly became a way of living. Along the road, I learned that the most beautiful places are not monuments , they are people.
Couchsurfing allows me to travel slowly and meaningfully. Not as a tourist collecting photos, but as a human collecting connections.
I don’t travel with much money. I travel with trust. With stories. With gratitude. And with a willingness to share whatever I can — yoga, flute, poetry, silence, or just a sincere conversation over chai.
For me, this platform is not about finding a free place to sleep.
It’s about reminding each other that kindness still exists.
If we meet, I hope it feels less like hosting and more like welcoming a friend 🌿

Interests

Slow travel by bicycle.
Hatha Yoga, pranayama, meditation, and living simply.
I love mountains, rivers, huts, sunrise skies, and quiet sunsets. I play the flute sometimes and write poetries inspired by the road and the people I meet.
Deep conversations, shared meals, honest laughter, and comfortable silence mean a lot to me.
For me, Couchsurfing is about connection + not just a place to sleep, but a moment of humanity shared.
If there is chai and sincerity, I’m already smiling ☕🌿

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left my home with my bicycle for 3 months, and it's been more than 5 years I am still in the road haha.. its magic

Teach, Learn, Share

I learn from life — from roads, strangers, silence, and shared meals. Every home holds a different kind of wisdom, and I love listening to it.
I can share Hatha Yoga, pranayama, and simple meditation practices. If you’d like, we can sit quietly together, breathe together, and begin the day gently.
I also play the flute — not as a performance, but as a small offering. Sometimes music says what words cannot.
I can share stories and poetries from my bicycle journey across India, Nepal, and Bangladesh — moments of struggle, kindness, and unexpected beauty.
And I’m always eager to learn from you — your culture, your kitchen, your perspective, your life experiences.
For me, this exchange is not about skills.
It’s about presence, connection, and sharing a little peace with each other.
If we meet, I hope we both leave lighter than we arrived 🌿

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don’t arrive with much , only a backpack, a bicycle, and a grateful heart.
If you open your home to me, I offer you my presence with respect and sincerity. I will honor your space as if it were a small temple , quietly, carefully, and with awareness.
If you wish, I can share gentle Hatha Yoga, simple pranayama, or sit in meditation together. No performance, no teaching , just breathing side by side.
In the evenings, I can play the flute softly, like a prayer without words. I can share poetries born from the road , moments of vulnerability, faith, and human connection.
I am happy to help in your kitchen, cook simple food, clean, or assist in whatever small way makes your day lighter.
More than anything, I offer listening.
To your stories, your thoughts, your life.
I may come as a traveler, but I will treat your kindness as something sacred.
And I will carry your generosity with me, far beyond your doorstep 🌿
