I would describe myself as a very open minded person who lives every moment. I am an ardent nature lover who, not only enjoys the nature, but celebrates it. I like the quite side of the spectrum, loves peace, serenity and calm.
Apart from that, I am a real foodie and like to enjoy other cultures in their ways, the way that it is meant to be enjoyed.
I like to listen to people rather than talk myself (kind of like the other end of a confession room) and to make new friends wherever I go.
I am not a very big fan of loud music, thus I have never visited a pub (seriously!!!) and don't intend to, in any forseeable future. But if you were to visit my city, I could direct you to one nearby. Other turn offs include (excessive) narcissism, taking advantage of someone, expecially when they are down, people with unhygenic habits. People with the above habits might not want to write to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I reckon that this is the best way to make new friends, to see a city the way people are supposed to see. It is my belief that a local, who has been living there for quite sometime knows the best of the best about the city, it's soul and other cool places, that we never can find in a travel guide.
Other aspect is the people we meet, people of diverse culture and nationalities.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like mostly all kind of music except the hard rock or metal. I am mostly into pop or light rock, but the choice depends on the mood. That is, you don't listen to rock music when you are atop a mountain or by the side of a river, right?
Favorite Movie: No reservations, The Chef, Chocolat, animated movies like Lion king, shrek and many others.
Favorite Music: Irish country songs (Dubliners, Steve Earle, Shannon etc), Pop and Rock (Chainsmokers, Maroon 5, Taylor swift (!!!) and of course MJ)
Books: I am not much of a book worm, but I like to read thrillers with an importance to history which are "not so fictious".
Fav author: Dan Brown (Da Vinci code, the lost symbol, the digital fortress and so on), JK Rowling (Harry Potter series).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Although I am madly in love with travelling, I have not been lucky to be around much. Mostly because of my hectic schedule or sometimes financial aspects. One thing that I have done and absolutely liked it was my 12 hour bike ride in India. I was on the road travelling through some amazing small villages, being part of their wonderful culture, tasting the most delicious food served by the people who were truly and wonderfully authentic.

I can teach about my culture, the Indian culture, Indian food, about my city (in Germany) and also my hometown. I can also give you information regarding travel and what-to-dos in India expecially in my state.

What I Can Share with Hosts
