ABOUT ME

Rewriting this article for many times I understood that vocabulary is too limited to express the energy of someone.
On current chapter of my crazy life I am a super passionate youth worker making international projects and connecting people from all-around the world. I got my “golden ticket” and moved from cold Latvia to always sunny Caribbean. Currently there is no place I can consider as my own corner for 100% because I am always just somewhere. I like to travel and explore, meet new people and listen to their stories. I just wanna keep going around the world and share my vibrant energy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just want to keep walking while the Earth is spinning. I believe that there are no strangers among the people. They just haven’t met yet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am into any kind of music - techno, rock, classic etc. We can play some vinyl and have cozy evening or grab some beers in a loud pub - music is the reflection of our energy.

I like to watch movies that brings you existential overthinking for next couple of days. My favorite movie is “Fight Club” and it’s not about the actors. This movie changed my perception of what we consider as freedom. Also I would call it as a “restart” button of my life.

I wouldn’t call myself as a “great reader”. I use to read a lot of classics when I was a teenager. Currently I am very picky about the books. During long trips, sitting in a plane/bus or laying at the beach I prefer to have one of Paulo Coelho books in one hand and a good coffee in another.

Teach, Learn, Share

Every person on my way is a teacher and student at once. As smaller is backpack, as more stories person is carrying. And I definitely have a lot of them to share - funny, inspirational, unbelievable and epic. I can teach you some “don’t panic” strategies I used in some desperate situations. Also I am a good listener and always accept new stories with a gratitude.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a culinary artist - I enjoy cooking and especially when u do it for somebody. I can provide you with a gastronomical journey.
I can help you with some basic tasks like cleanup etc.
Also I can bring you some souvenirs from the country I am travelling. Currently I am in Türkiye, so..if you like Turkish delights or spices… let me know 🤌🏽
