About Me

Originally from Moldova, now I'm exploring the depths of knowledge in Czech Republic and who knows where life's gonna throw me next :). Generally, I like throwing challenges to myself from time to time, it colours the life in some way. Being open-minded, I'm always ready for new adventures and emotions.

Travelling changes people in a cardinal way. I felt this on my own example. It's incomparable how you see and interpret the world around you when you spend years within one country and when you travel and broaden your mind.

Speaking utopistically, from some point of view borders should be abolished in this world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a complete new world and approach for me, and I'm absolutely positive to exploring it. Though I have a complete lack of experience with couchsurfing yet.

Interests

History and museums (I can spend some time staring at some old hat in a museum and getting goose bumps when imagining it being held by a musketeer 4 centuries away, is that what's called a nerd?)), science (in some sort), basketball, cycling.

Music, Movies, and Books

As results from previous question, I'm fond of historical literature, some Russian classics and popular science.

Speaking about music, I prefer hard-rock, metal, some sorts of rock, jazz... and 80's music. No idea how can these match together, but that's how it is. What I do appreciate in music is the virtuosity of performance. In each case, I'm tolerant to various kinds of music and really love to discover new styles of expression. Surprisingly, quality live music event can give you a big load of satisfaction, even if the genre is not one of your favourite (I found myself once at Sarah Connor's concert and really liked it).
