My name is Vitalii, I'm from the capital of Ukraine - beautiful city Kyiv.
I work in IT company as business-analyst. I like my work because it provides interesting tasks for me to solve. I'm a big fan of the puzzles :)
One more thing that I like to do is discovering and learning new. I'm always open for new passions.
Singing, playing volleyball, manual labor give me pleasure!
Now I am learning salsa. I would like to learn Salsa because I enjoy dancing , and I also recommend it to everyone:)
For two years I regularly donate my blood. I like the feeling when you can help others in difficult moments.
I also like to run. Running is the life. I like run 5 km. every other day (or even everyday, when i have no other tasks). I am proud that my friends also started running after me!
Now I try to learn programming because we live in the changeable time when programming share in all the spheres of our life, and it is important to connect to this tendency early.

As for me, I am a fairly calm rational person, I have a balanced character. Doing insane, quick-tempered actions – it’s not about me. I like to communicate, share thoughts; I am interested in the opinions of other people on different issues. When I am in a new city / country for the first time, I try to discover as much as possible a new place for myself, I enjoy studying features, architecture, culture, history, traditions, etc. I find this interesting enough.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my study at the Banking University I often have engaged in different events took place in various European countries. I visited Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany and Austria, meet a lot of interesting people, feel a lot of great emotions, and I liked it.
After finishing my study at the University I didn't travel to other countries, and of course didn't meet interesting people.
But now, I am going to visit another countries, to meet with other cultures and languages. So let journey begin :)
Here I'm going to find interested people from interested places all over the world, who will be able to show me the true beautifulness of our planet and who will take a part of my universe.
Couchsurfing for me - is also a great opportunity to spend free time with smart and fascinating people :)

Interests

Karaoke. I try to spend each party with my friends in karaoke clubs, where we can practise to sing songs and enjoy a lot!
Beach volleyball. With my friends or with other people who have a rest, I like to play beach volleyball at the Trukhanov island (Kyiv) every summer weekend (when it doesn't raining, of course :) ).
Donation. I donate my blood every quarter, and invite other people to join.
Greek mythology. Early I was an expert in such topic. I like to read such myths and watch moovies according to them.
Economy. My University speciality is banking . That's why I am interested in different economic topics.
Football. I like football. I am a fan, and usually visit the stadiums for watching matches. I also know the history of football battles, and can discuss current situation in European and World football.
Cooking. Now I live alone, that's why i cook a lot to myself. I can also teach how to cook borsch).
History. This is my first hobby. I read a lot about old states, kings, battles. I am sure that all historical events from the past also take place nowadays (with other forms, of course, but this is not change a lot!).

Music, Movies, and Books

About music. I enjoy listening to rock music: Muse, Scorpions, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Queen, A-ha. These guys usually make my day. I also like to hear to classical music of famous composers. The type of music I like to listen depends on my current mood.
About books. I can read anything, I just need to read every single day. But my favourites are "1984" by George Orwell, "God father" by Mario Gianluigi Puzo, "Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint Exupery, "All Quiet on the Western Front" by Erich Maria Remarque, any novel by Dan Brown and so on.

About movies. I am a big fan of cinema, that's why I usually visit the cinema on the premiere of modern films. I have few favourites films: "Star Wars" series, "Back to the future", "Matrix", "Godfather", "The Green Mile", "Schindler's List " and almost every documentary film about space, physics laws, nature, etc. I enjoy the viewing of biographical films, movies with Tom Hanks, historical films and every film by Marvel Studios.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think everyday life bring us a lot of amazing thing.
I donate my blood in the regular manner. I guess it's very useful and amazing thing. I also make my best to invite others for donation.

Teach, Learn, Share

Most of all I want to learn different cultures and languages, to watch how peoples live their lifes in other countries.
I can share my knowledge of the world, of the Ukraine and it's culture. I can teach ukrainian and russian languages.
I can also show the steps of salsa, getting practise of salsa bring lot of funs)
I also will be happy from the jointly singing.
