I live in the country, love animals, nature, especially bird song, storms, the whistling wind, the sun warm on winter mornings. I enjoy intelligent conversation about lots of things - culture, politics, history, but also like to share deeper experiences and feelings. I have recently rediscovered the joy of travelling, and particularly learning French which I've always wanted to do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived illegally in a small boat with my Chinese lover on that amazing jade green river near Guilin during the strict communist regime. Lived on fresh fish and vegetables bought from other boats.
