I've traveled solo to more than 45 countries and once backpacked for more than 2 years at a stretch while working in a fully remote full-time job. I might have stayed in over 100 hostels in total and was also accepted as a party promoter/tour guide at a hostel in South East Asia.

In Dec-2023, I moved into a new work from office job in Mumbai, heading the corporate credit research business for a financial services firm in Mumbai and spent a year taking classes in salsa and bachata. I've now changed to a fully remote job yet again beginning Dec-2025 and am soon planning to go backpacking again for 1-2 years!

At a personal level, my current priorities are getting super fit by going to the gym and becoming an excellent bachata fusion/sensual dancer.

Hosting is subject to my availability, length of stay and arrival/departure timing. Kindly confirm your stay within a reasonable amount of time after approval/invitation so as to not block the calendar. Also, please do not confirm your stay if you plan to continue fishing elsewhere or if you're not sure about staying with me :)

My place may not be convenient for you in the following cases:

1. If you're looking for a place just to save money and do not care about cultural exchanges or building a connection.

2. If you're looking for a place in the centre to see the main touristy places (although my place is well connected to everywhere else in Mumbai by local train).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet backpackers who are still traveling. When I was backpacking myself, I didn't see a reason to use the app as I could meet people just everywhere.
