About Me
Hey there! I'm a software developer at Microsoft (yes, I'm that kind of nerd) who graduated from IIT (BHU) Varanasi in Electronics Engineering. Basically, I fix bugs and then travel to new places to recharge.
Born in Surat, Gujarat, I'm now based in Hyderabad, but I'm happiest when I'm somewhere completely new.
I'm always ready for a new adventure, a good conversation, and am generally a tidy guest (I promise not to debug your apartment). I love exploring, learning new things, and am excited to experience your city!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm always chasing new experiences—whether it's learning a new programming language or exploring an unfamiliar neighborhood.
For me, Couchsurfing is the perfect way to make travel personal. I'm not just looking for a place to sleep; I'm looking for a chance to meet interesting people, share a meal, exchange perspectives, and genuinely dive into life outside of my comfort zone. I find these connections are always the best part of any trip.

Music, Movies, and Books
Sport: When I need to unplug, you can usually find me in the water. I absolutely love swimming; the silence underwater is incredibly calming and my favorite way to clear my head. Keeping the adventurous spirit alive, I'm currently picking up a couple of new hobbies: I'm learning the precision and patience of Golf as well as the strength and focus required for Wall Climbing.
Music: I'm currently hooked on the infectious rhythms of House Music—it's great for coding and traveling! But my tastes are pretty broad; you might also catch me listening to the high drama of Opera or the latest catchy Pop tracks.
Movies: Time for my most unpopular opinion! While others unwind with a rom-com, I find myself drawn to the intensity of Gore/Horror movies. I'm kidding (mostly!), but there is something strangely captivating about the genre. I promise to keep the volume down if I decide to watch a particularly brutal one!
Books: When it comes to reading, I tend to stick to things that help me understand people and life better. My favorites are Psychology and Lifestyle books. Right now, I'm diving into the hugely insightful Mindset by Dr. Carol Dweck.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During my IIT days (right in the middle of the 2021 COVID era, actually!), my team was tasked with building a complex Multi-Agent Robotic System. The amazing thing wasn't the robot itself, but how we made it happen.
Despite the fact that we were all supposed to be home, we decided that the only way to pull it off was to meet up at the college for a month. We showed up with zero planning—no idea about where we would stay, what we would eat, or how we’d manage logistics. We just had the pure, unfiltered spirit of a group of nerds determined to build something cool. It was chaotic, exhausting, and easily one of the most memorable and rewarding months of my life!
